INTOCOCCIO

Is a Biocompatible Eco Plaster, pre-packaged in powder form for interior and exterior use in accordance with UNI EN 998-1.

INTOCOCCIOis totally free of cement and compounds belonging to the clinker group and consists of a mixture of pure limestones sands and high quality earthenware, screened in a continuous grain size range from 0 to 2.5 mm. The only binder present is Pure Natural Hydraulic Lime NHL 5 in accordance with UNI EN 459-1. Lime NHL 5, white in colour, is produced by firing siliceous limestones at temperatures below 1,250° C and reduced to powder by the extinguishing of calcium oxide alone, without the addition of pozzolanic materials or hydraulic binders of any kind.

Fields of application

INTOCOCCIO is specifically designed for the formation of traditional dehumidifying
earthenware plaster on new and old masonry, for low thicknesses of up to 4 cm, for slabwork on façades, for the reinforcement of mortar joints and as bedding mortar in flush stonework. Easily worked with the techniques traditionally used in the application of lime plasters. INTOCOCCIO can be applied directly to vertical and horizontal surfaces consisting of solid brickwork, loadbearing hollow bricks, light hollow bricks, mixed bricks, rubble and tuff. For all those surfaces that are compact or not very absorbent, such as solid or hollow concrete blocks and expanded clay granules, cellular conglomerate blocks, lime or cement-based subbases, reinforced concrete or magnesium wood structures, the use of INTOCOCCIO must be preceded by the application of SPRIZZO PONTE DI ADESIONE.
